I'm posting for a friend of mine who is building a Hemi pretty soon.
Are the aftermarket black crinkle finish Hemi Valve covers for the 66'-69' cars fitting well on the heads? He may be using Stage V heads.
These are for a 68' Coronet.
Thanks in advance.

Mark, I know Bob the seller of the black ones and he was the one that told me he sold quite a few and no complaints. We have done business for a long time.I would have no problem dealing with him They are a chinese version of the 800 Moroso . The welding might not be as pretty but with a billet rail they will seal. the black and polished are ssame look inside for the RPC logo.

I have Stage V heads and the Stage V valve covers fit fine. I got a set of Mopar Performance chrome valve covers and the bolt holes do not line up. Is there something different about the Stage V heads, or is it just a poor set of MP valve covers?

No problem on the high jack, I love to hear all opinions from all sides.
What I was originally asking about was the aftermarket stock looking Valve cover fit, not the billet hi-tech looking types. My friend is building a 68' Coronet with a Hemi and wants to look stock with the black crinkle finish assembly line covers. I believe the new repro covers from Mopar are correct fitting but a bit pricey. Are they any good?
Maybe I'll find him a pair of correct looking ones on the secondary market.

Arruzza has some nice looking ones with extra spring clearance.

I've been eyeballing them BUT I haven't been able to find anyone who has tried them
