Hi All,
Does anyone know how to get in touch with Phil? I paid for carbs and a hemi power brake booster setup a LONG time ago, got the carbs but not the booster. I'm now ready to set the engine (hemi) into my car but can't until engine bay is complete. I have left multiple messages with him but no response. My options are 1) wait until I get word from him or 2) drop serious $$ to buy another setup... (sigh) leaning towards #2 but then what to do with an extra booster setup.. Suggestions? Help??

I haven't heard his name mentioned in YEARS - I'd start looking at other options if I were you unless someone else has direct and recent contact info...good luck.

Give it a week and if you haven't made contact with him then Buy another, sell the refurbed one when and if you get it.

I tried getting a hold of him like 9 years ago, never did. I heard he moved out of Utah?

He was at Spring Fling a couple of years ago and I bumped into him. I've known him a long time (since late 1980's). He told me he was doing boosters. I needed one so agreed to his price. He also mentioned that he was doing carb conversions on new Edelbrocks to the smaller throat size. I paid him for both. Took awhile to get the carbs and all the linkage. Not a big deal then since I wasn't that close on my car. Now I am and so I started pressing him several months ago (8-9?)for the booster. Thought he was going to come through a couple of months back but now I can't get a hold of him. His voice mail is full and he doesn't respond to pages. Which is why I'm on the forum. Need the part but also worried about the $$. I figured something has happened (hopefully nothing bad) and either he or someone he knows will let him know I want to talk to him and (hopefully) get my booster. Staying positive here...

I have also known Phil since the late 80's, I've always considered him to be a good honest guy but had never had business dealings with him until a few years ago when I ordered some parts. He was very nice on first contact and assured me that what I needed would be shipped immediately abnd he would invoice me etc. then he flat dissapeared, I tried in vain to contact him for weeks and finally gave up, basically the same results as you. He never took my money so it's ok between us but I found it very strange that he does business that way?

He did move from S.California to the SLC Utah area about 7 years ago but I believe he has sinced moved again. He was doing business with Jeff Larson (Rocky Mountain Mopars) back then, maybe Jeff can lead you in the right direction.

I ordered a part from him in 1998....it still hasn't arrived. Thankfully my credit card was never charged.

He took me for a ride.We cut a trade deal...I shipped him 6 or 8 Bendix boosters on my nickel for the same amount of repro shifter linkage. I recieved one set of A body linkage about a year later after countless phone calls.Every time I called him I got the same excuse....the linkage is out at the platers or being hardened.
