My 1968 Charger has A/C.

The blower motor I took out was part number 2837 694, at top in picture.

The blower motor to the right is 3441 444.

The blower motor to the left is 2837 693.

Aside from the wires being different lengths, can either of the newer motors be used with an A/C car?

What were the differences in motors in a car with or without A/C?

I had Jules do my wiper motor, but thought these blower motors I scooped up early on would do for my resto.

Thanks, John

Yes they can.
You already notice the wire lengths.
In some cases check the length of the shafts and orientation of the vent hole.
The internals are the same ( few exeptions).
Non a/c motors are much smaller.

Jules, good to hear from you.

My car was put on the back burner in 2006 when I bought a home needing hefty repairs.

I'm now trying to ramp back up with the car and get her going.

I'll be a calling.

John

I was only refering to the fact that when you compare one motor to your original
, make sure the hole is in the same position before you use it.
For example, see how your tacked on brackets are further out than the 2 motors below.
This means that your motor will be further in the firewall than the 2 other motors.
There may be squirrel cage alignment problems.
