Man,

I have been back and forth in preparation for Drag Week this year. The fly wheel stopped me from testing this past weekend. I'll be in the weekend of the 24th making hits in Tulsa. I will also be back on the 30th prepping for DW as long as our testing on the 24th goes well. The car will be hitting the streets this Friday. A hop and skip over the Atlantic has been nothing for me these past two months... lol

Frequent flyer miles are a good thing.

Very nice man... Right now the plans are to paint it Dodge Green with Envy, but it will stay primered grey for this DW. Not enough time to paint it...

Unfortunately I'll be adding myself to the no go list now. It is just mind blowing how the little stuff can add up. What stings even more is that the car will be done and sitting in the garage for DW... Now for my painful email to the HR Staff. Hope to see you guys next year...

Sorry to hear that, I'm sure you'll be plenty ready by next year. Keep us updated on the progression.

Sorry to hear that. But on the bright side now you have plenty of time to get some seat time and get everything tweaked.

Yeah, the unforeseen little thing. All the little things to make the Duster road worthy and be highly competitive can get pretty expensive really fast. I chose to back out before making momma mad and blowing the rainy day savings... lol This give me plenty time to prep for 2013.

Exactly my friend. Better game plan and i'll be more comfortable with the car. This should put us in the hunt next year...

Ugh... that stinks man. I was really pulling for you. BUT, I try to find an upside to everything. Even if you had an endless pot of cash, I personally think it is worth it to have a nice burn-in period rather than have something completely unexpected go wrong during the event that would put you or the car at risk. You will have lots of seat time to get ready without stressing out! At least you are pretty much done, the hardest part is behind you.
