I need the original part # for the 1970 e body Hurst shifter mechanism.

With or without console? Not sure if there different for Cuda and Challengers and with the consoles or not The A and B bodys are

E body uses the same shifter for either one .

E body uses the same shifter for either one .




The shift lever varies between E & B bodies, with & without consoles...
But the shifter gate mechanism is the same, 70 A833 4-SP transmission actually has (2) mounting positions depending upon E or B body...

Also keep in mind that 1970 was the first year of the slide-in lever fastening system which I don't like.. I replaced the Hurst mechanism in my 70 RR with the aftermarket version and mount the shift lever with the (2) bolts, far more rigid and secure.. Also this has the threaded shift stops as well..

Just my $0.02...
