bad connection. jump from large batt stud on starter relay to brown wire going to solenoid if Ok starter/solenoid are OK. Chcek if yellow wire is getting 12V when key is turned to crank. If so ground male "G" terminal on starter relay & try it if no start jump 12V from large batt terminal on starter relay to male "start" terminal(has a yellow wire on it) if no start take off starter relay & clean it's bottom to make sure it's grounded well. Try again & if no go starter relay is in need of being replaced but check above carefully as bad connections are far more prevelant than a bad starter relay.

What rapid means is pull the NS wire off, and connect a clip lead from the EXPOSED TERMINAL ON THE RELAY to a ground on the firewall.
Here's how these work: In "start" the key provides 12V on the yellow wire, hooked to one of the push-on terminals of the relay, which is ONE SIDE of the coil. The OTHER SIDE of the coil is the remaining push-on terminal, and goes to the NS switch in autos, and the clutch safety switch on sticks.
You only have 4 terminals:
The two push on are the coil
The two big, bare terminals are the switch
