For me, no...................Last time out I blew the tires off on the first pass w/3+ year old tires w/LOTS of street miles on em. Had to adjust the cal-tracs way different than ever before and still had a bad(for me)1.44 60 ft. I just installed some et-streets w/only 4 passes on em so we`ll see if they work..............Been told the side walls go away before the tread especially on high power good hooking cars.

I've used Formula V traction treatment to keep the tread of slicks soft, guess it worked fair. I saw some guys w/ a dragster spraying-wiping thier tires w/ WD-40 They went a few rounds that day.

WD-40 works good.

Gallon of wd-40 and a paint roller, more coats the stickier they get. Put on a coat let it soak for a couple hours, apply another coat as needed.

One day I will have something cool here.

I would talk to the tire manfacturer.

The tire manufacturer will NEVER give the OK to treat the tires w/ anything b/c of liability.

I can tell you from firsthand experience that WD-40 will soften/sticky up the tires and will not hurt them at all. They may or may not wear out a little quicker, but that will be the only downside.
