For me, no...................Last time out I blew the tires off on the first pass w/3+ year old tires w/LOTS of street miles on em. Had to adjust the cal-tracs way different than ever before and still had a bad(for me)1.44 60 ft. I just installed some et-streets w/only 4 passes on em so we`ll see if they work..............Been told the side walls go away before the tread especially on high power good hooking cars.

The tire manufacturer will NEVER give the OK to treat the tires w/ anything b/c of liability. I can tell you from firsthand experience that WD-40 will soften/sticky up the tires and will not hurt them at all. They may or may not wear out a little quicker, but that will be the only downside.
