Anyone had any fitment issues with a 4-bow YearOne headliner for 1971-1974 B-body?

I got mine and it would not line up with my bows at all....box is marked as for 1971-1974 Bbody (car is a 73 Charger).

Is this common or did I get the wrong one perhaps? Has anyone with the same car used one and it fit??

I have two headliners from Legendary for 71 to 74 b bodies and am very pleased...

1972 Road Runner / GTX 440 4spd Dana 3.54 Just about to turn 26K original miles..

A boat, a GMC truck, some Craftsman Tools, LOTS of Zombie Protection, and a few Goldfish..

If you love someone set them free..
If they come back it means nobody else wanted them either..!!

I think I remember a few posts about this issue. Maybe do a search for it.

I did a search and I saw a thread about somebody with a RR and they put their measurements from front WS to back glass:

WS--12"--bow1--7"--bow2--15"--bow3--15"---bow4

Those measurements are pretty close to the holes where my bows were (original headliner is long gone) and look like that would work on my Charger.

However, the headliner I have is nowhere near that. This is a PUI brand headliner...the box says for 71-74 Mopar B-body but no way it's going to fit (not even close - see pic). Anyone else used this brand and it didn't fit or did I just get lucky and get the worng one slipped in my box?

If so, what car does this go to??

I have a new one on the way for free (thanks YearOne!) but I want to know if I'm crazy here or not.

I had a problem with a 71-74 B-body 6 bow PUI brand that was too short on one end, I got a replacement from distributor but it was the same exact thing.....I thought I was going crazy too. (even tried to turn it around backwards to get it to fit) I Called PUI directly and explained problem, they discovered the CAD driven machine was cutting them short on the one end and long on the other. They fixed the problem and sent out a corrected one immediately, expedited shipping, for free. It fit perfect! I have to say, PUI was very pleasant to deal with and apologized profusely for the error. Some say their product is sub-par but I found it to be high quality and am very pleased with it. They just had a programing error on their machine.

Thanks for the information. I would have a hard time believing the PUI brand is not good as YearOne sells them. Usually YearOne doesn't sell crap....

If the new one comes and is the same thing, I might call them directly and follow the route you did. I was afraid they might hang up on me becuase they don't normally deal with the public directly.

I was hoping somebody here would chime in if they had a good or bad experience with the same thing so I know what to expect.

I have the new YearOne headliner in and the spacing looks much better!

Thanks to Year One for making this right with a minimum of hassle!!!

Now can anybody tell me what the headliner I have goes to, if anything?
