I have a set, but I havent tried fitting them yet. They look great, but that is only half the battle.

Who made the set you have ? Can you snap a pic next to a OEM set ? Do they look as thick as orig ones ?
I bought my pair from Classic Performance Products out of California. They were advertising them on ebay for a while for 140 I think. Cant snap a pic next to the old ones because they are long gone. They look to be the same thickness as the originals though.

Fit? Probably fine, but I haven't tried that yet. Quality? Metal thickness is fine, bushings and ball joints appear to be good (but notice ball joint stude size is bigger dia. than OEM). O.E. Correct? Stamping shape is not even close compared to the two OEM 71 Duster examples I have to compare them to. Bottom line? I don't see a problem using them, especially for the price, but in the higher end judging venues they'll cost you some points.

Many of them were bare steel and not painted resulting in rust/pitting issues. Drier Western cars like I find don't normally have rust issues but I've seen some horrible examples back East.
I can concur with Scott. I have spent the better part of a day messing with these old rusty upper control arms and for my driver cars I will drop the $150 and save some time. Ordering a set this week.
