I have seen some of them for sale lately on the Ebag . I know Dynacorn is one of the mfg, not sure if there are others. Has anyone see them or used them?? Do they look like a NOS set or just more junk that does not fit ??

I have a set, but I havent tried fitting them yet. They look great, but that is only half the battle.

I would use a original pair with new MOOG ball joints. Guaranteed to fit.

I bought some as well, out of the box they look identical to originals but just for kicks I'll do a side by side tonight to see if they actually are. The ball joints look ok as well but quality wise those are a crap shoot so I'll likely change them out for Moogs, for the price the bare arms were a good deal.

I bought my pair from Classic Performance Products out of California. They were advertising them on ebay for a while for 140 I think. Cant snap a pic next to the old ones because they are long gone. They look to be the same thickness as the originals though.

Scott, did you get them from CPP or Frank Badalson ?? Ebay, there $139 each from CPP and that sounds like a deal...IF they fit .

Fit? Probably fine, but I haven't tried that yet.

Quality? Metal thickness is fine, bushings and ball joints appear to be good (but notice ball joint stude size is bigger dia. than OEM).

O.E. Correct? Stamping shape is not even close compared to the two OEM 71 Duster examples I have to compare them to.

Bottom line? I don't see a problem using them, especially for the price, but in the higher end judging venues they'll cost you some points.

The edge "flange" width is more substantial on the original, especially noticable around the bushing area which would be a strength concern to me.

Do control arms need replacing ??? Besides replacing the ball joints and bushings, why would a control arm need replacing(besides an accident)....

Didnt realize there was that much of a need for UCA's. What about the lowers, are they reproducing those as well ?

Many of them were bare steel and not painted resulting in rust/pitting issues. Drier Western cars like I find don't normally have rust issues but I've seen some horrible examples back East.

Lower control arms with factory correct details would be an awesome product, they rust worse and get damaged easier, I'm sure they would sell (if correct!).

I can concur with Scott. I have spent the better part of a day messing with these old rusty upper control arms and for my driver cars I will drop the $150 and save some time. Ordering a set this week.

Its a sign of the times. Us old farts would have 10 pairs in a box from all the cars we parted out. The new guys are going to need a fresh supply.
