What is the proper type of caulking to use when installing a new Dutchmen panel on a 69 charger.

I noticed that on the top of the panel that goes below the Dutchman that there were 2 strips of caulking that the Dutchmen sits on once welded in.

Thanks!

I can't really help other than to say I just removed my dutchman panel last night on my '69 Roadrunner and didn't see any caulking at all, but mine was really rusty. When I use caulking I get mine from Eastwood. They have it in a tube or a can for brushing on.

I have used many Eastwood products and have not been impressed. I did do some research into caulking body panels and tried a few brands. I like this the best. Fuser from Lords. It looks like the original, the tube lets you force the caulk into seams, then you can still brush the top for the factory finish.
