I have crane 66550-16, if you are running stock height rockers, I have a set of pushrods you can get, never run Manton 7/16" for 5/16 adjusters. Tim

Tim will your pushrods work with Indy Rockers and Stage 5 stands. Going on a set of Indy HIPO heads
Not sure how tal they are compared to stock heads and rockers stuff. What is the length on your set of pushrods for the intake and exhaust. I assume they are oil thru.
thanks
Jerry

I have the receipt somewhere, I will get you the measurements. I am running stageV heads and Dvorak stands, when I changed to the StageV rockers, the pushrods didnt fit and I would have to clearance the block. Since I didnt want to tear things down, I just bought new pushrods.

Depending on valve spring pressures,as said the Comp Elite are in the top of the list. When I purchased mine, there were no elites.I used the comp 848's with oil to the rollers and p/r oil able.I also reduced spring pressures from 750+ ovrt the nose to 600ish.I did not have good luck with the Comp 829's,REDZONES would not fit for over $700,ended up with the Comp 848's and sent oil up the exhaust pushrods

HEMI-ITIS has no cure.
My condition is fully BLOWN!!

I have comp elite lifters in my 572 hemi, fresh rebuild with all same clearance's as original engine was set up with, orig was flat tappet and the cam was almost dead at 6400 miles so we went solid roller, it is a crane .587 int, .568 exh , duration @ .050 is 254 int, 262 exh, springs are 155 on the seat, 410 open. Problem now is I lose a lot of oil pressure after the engine heats up, have a Titan oil pump, 85 PSI cold 1500 RPM with 20-50 Z-Alt and about 18 PSI at 1000 RPM hot, 38 PSI @ 2500 rpm on the highway, seems like the lifters have to be the culprit as we did not have this big oil pressure loss issue before. It might be OK but I am bugged by it, have about 2500 miles on it now since changing and seems like there is lots of info out there about solid rollers failing in a street engine application or should I say in 2500 miles. I already have tons of money in this engine and do not want to hurt it again.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, have explored lots of option from Jesel to comp 829 to crower severe duty, Isky Ez-Roll etc

I hope those aren't the pressures you're running with a solid roller.

Forgive me for having to ask but why would somebody run oil thru lifters/pushrods with conventional rockers? I understand if you have Jesels. Just wondering. Thanks.

I checked the cam card from crane and they called for 200 closed, 455 open so that is what he would have used or close, this engine is not revy, HP is all done at 5774 RPM, 732 HP, torgue is 717 at 4757 rpm, has a indy single plane with 950 holly.
