Awe, thanks guys. Yeah, it is taking a lot longer than I expected but they usually do. Hoping for later this season to be out making test hits. (Fingers crossed).

Oops, the shaker parts pictures did attach to my edited post above after all. Such a pain to do anymore. I have to go to a website, resize & resave every single picture individually, then I am able post them.

Jay if you can believe it I even had to modify my shaker because the Msd probillet distributor was too tall. Lol

Nice subtle mod. No one would even notice that. Looks good.

I finally got out in the garage to work on the latest project a little. I had to modify & reconfigure my outboard fogger around a little & lean the solenoids in a little to clear & be more inboard. I made all of my templates to start making my dual Dominator tunnel ram shaker conversion Time to start hacking on the parts now.

I'm not paging thru the achieves to see how I have complimented you in the past, just know I really like your work!!! I am of the school of that there are worthwhile sacrifices in performance in the name of style. No doubt the air cleaner mod is one...I just HAVE (LOL) to warn that I don't think that scoop is going to do any favors for the potential of this engine.

I understand. Most scoops do not pull in anywhere near as much as as most people think they do anyway, unless you are running a legitimate huge ole Pro Stock scoop. This scoop will probably be 3" longer & at least 3-4" taller than a stock shaker scoop when done.
The openings will be raised slightly & will also be larger in size. It will pull more air than it looks now.
The base will mount with stanchions & feet to mount the intake or upper valve cover studs with some quick pins for ease of removal of the whole assembly for in between round maintenance when needed.

I know, I know, I am taking too long. Believe me, I wish I had more time & money. Finally got out into the garage a little . Got the scoop, hood and base stretched 3" & fitted all around everything to fit the dual dominators on a tunnel ram, sits nice. Even will still be able to use the seal to seal it all of to the hood. Marked the scoop as it sits now to know how much of it stick thru as it is. Going to stretch the height next and then fiberglass it all back together.

Thanks guys, I am thinking I may plumb one side of the nostriles to feed air the rear carb & the other side to feed air to the front carb within the bubble.

Worked on project Super Shaker a little more this weekend. Time to start fiberglassing it all back together next. Stretched the Nostril openings down slightly to see how it will looking from 2-1/2" tall openings to 4" tall openings. Not pictured but I made some aluminum stanchions that also joined the lower base to the upper bubble to keep the needed spacing & distant correct & everything centered to the hood opening. What is my easiest way to continue from here?

Is air flow to the carbs going to be an issue with it that tight above carbs- looks really close??

I will say from testing my stuff the carbs that close to the lid didn't like it at all. Killed it a .10 easy. Does look cool though.

It's still a street car. I am not concerned about every tenth. Besides, I can just spray it harder if needed. Lol. Hard to tell but,the scoop is 3-1/2" above the carbs.I know several people running in the 7's (mid to low 4's in the 1/8) where their cowl induction scoops almost touch the carbs and did not effect performance.
