I'm replacing the brake booster on my 67 RT. There is a spring from the pedal bracket to the booster pushrod. It looks like it belongs as there is a grove for (or from) the spring in the pushrod. The FSM does not show the spring in any diagrams. Is this spring for pedal return?

Thanks

Yes, the spring belongs. Never have been entirely sure as to what exactly it does but more than likely tied to pedal return.
