Thanks Yes it will but if you run a 6" rod it don't give you much c/h and you will probably have to cut the counter weights on the crank so the piston doesn't rub.My motor is a 9" deck 6" rod 4" stroke with a 4.185 bore. 3120lb, small block, 10.5" tire, NA, through exhaust, full int, WITH 83/4 REAR, 9.0 at 150mph

If you look at the 454 motown SBC it's running a 4.250 bore and a 4.000 stroke in a 9.025" deck block. Personally I would rather run a shorter stroke and wind it more, but that's just me.
