When using polyurethane leaf sping bushings do the bushings rotate in the spring eye and body or does the rear shackle and front bolt serve as the pivot point? I ask because my bushings were fairly snug in the springs and body and I just want to make sure that it's not an issue.
Any recomendations for lubricants on the wear points?

The OE rubber bushings are super tight in the spring... practically welded in after some time. The pivot points are the mounting bolts which are shoulder style so they don't squeeze and lock up the joint. I use general purpose moly grease on my poly bushings at assembly.

Once enough rust or friction occurs the rubber itself absorbs what little rotational movement that's there.

For poly bushings, you can add a grease zerk at the back of the spring eye, above the leaf. Some manufacturers supply a small amount of lube with there new parts.
