Anyone use one of Rich's distributors. If the quality is as good as my wires I will most likely pick one up. Is the cap interchangeable with the MSD Pro Billet cap? Thanks in advance.

I have one of the first ones on the market and it performs perfectly on and off the track. It's very easy to adjust and set the curve where you want it and timing is rock solid steady with zero issues
The MSD cap wont fit,Firecore distributors use a Mopar style cap and rotor. It will plug into the lead from your MSD mag pick-up cord though
I would buy from a vendor like Nick at www.compuflow.com or Bob George Racing to get the latest version.

Thanks for the replies. Can the curve be locked out like the MSD unit?

Thanks Gus. Yes, but it will only take 25 seconds to lock it out. There was an upgrade that locks the reluctor to the shaft with a pin. Gus and I, and I think Lee are running originals without the update. Lee, I can't remember which one you received. The distributors are a really stout piece. We used hot forged billet, the only manufacturers to do this. Zero retard to 10,000 rpm.

Rich.

I can't remember either. I just know that I bought the unit form you at Carlisle this past July.
Is there a way of indicating which ones are the updated?

Very nice unit by the way and I can't wait to really wail it out next season along with your CD coil.

Happy Holidays.
Some thing in the mail soon for Three Kings.

Lee, that needs updating. Is it installed? Not really a problem if you don't, just an extra safety measure. Yes, we have smallblocks. Vaccuum with an MSD pigtail, and a Ready to Run with the CD ignition in it.

10% off until Dec 31..

Wow, Bob. Nice. Thank you. This is the only distributor that Tim Banning @ FHO has been installing on everything that leaves his shop as well. He's on his second case that we are getting ready to ship. Thank for the support, Bob.

Hi Bob. Thanks for the opportunity. Customers can only buy the distributors through the dealers listed in the sale(New Products or sale section) Sorry. There are four dealers who stock both the wires and distributors. If a dealer does not have it in stock when you call them, move on to the next. These things have been proven and some dealers are really passing the performance to their customers.. Thanks Bob, Rick

Rich. Yes it's installed but not driven since I've been so crazed with other duties.
I happen to be driving through Cleveland this Friday on my way to Detroit and will also be coming through on the 28th as well. I can pull it and bring it by for the exchange or update. I wanna make sure it is on sharp duty next season. I did spend some money getting it phased in/ curved at FBO. Is it some thing that can be corrected? If so, I'd rather you guys do it right in house.

Let me know.

Thanks.
