was wondering if you guys ever tried a small dia. idler pulley?

i have bout a 1/4 inch of interferance from crank pulley to the power stearing from the ele. water pump
i cant move stearing pump down or move the ele water pump so only 2 opptions i have is use a smaller idle pulley to get the clearance i need or have a small crank pulley made
being working on racecars at one point in time everyone has to fab something
i cant be the only person to run a meziere with power stearing
