Going to look at one tomorrow . I know I'll have to get the vin and fender tag info. What equipment is specific to the RT pkg that I should look for? Did all RT's with a 4-speed come with a dana. I know nothing about B-bodies. What are the troubled spots to look for? Any help would be great.

1969 and older - 3/8" is hemi only, all others were 5/16" including 1969 Six pack cars

They like to rot around the back window. Even the inner window frame and inner part where the rear defrost would mounted be under the dutchman panel. Once the rear window area is rotted the water then drips down and rots out the trunk floor and even the part of the floor under the rear seat. Cowl and door hinge pillars too take a look. Check for the vin sequence # it should be stamped on the rad support and under the trunk seal drivers side.
Take a good look at the unibody (around shock tower, frame rails, torsion bar crossmember)

Well the excitement is over. turned out to be a 70. Vin starts with xp. The grille and doors were swapped on from another car. So no dana and probably no 18 spline. It started to rain pretty good so I did not get to check motor numbers. Sounded good, has ac ps pb. A sloppy repaint, but straight and seemingly no excessive rust issues.Good frame, floors, trunk was patched in the middle but extensions seemed decent. Not a bad car just not what I was told and the price is probably fair. Back to my Dusterpile

Just following along here. I'm looking into a different 69 charger. I hope mine turns out to be a 1970 also. All my other cars are 1970s.
*edit* turns out it's a 69, oh well.
