Digging through parts boxes accumulated over the years and found 7 L2426 .030 pistons along with 8 rods with bronze bushed small end and a MS-3049 casting #. I cant find any info on the pistons through TRW or Speed Pro lit.

Question; anyone happen to have one or two of these pistons in .030 laying around? Any info on the rods?

They are early 340 rods. There is a forging number somewhere on the rod that ends in 496. I believe the later ones shared with 360s were 645. All MOPAR rods are forged. Only castings have a casting number.
Probably another Speed Pro piston from the days when they weren't combined with TRW.

Well I found by Google an older post here that states the L2426 piston is for a 360 and has 1.704 comp height,.407 dome,.984 pin. I think this will do what we need if we can only find one or two or three----to complete the set.
