Have you thought about trying your 10 inch rims, imo they are a perfect fit for a the tire you asked about, the section width is still wider then the contact patch.

Ive the norm 15/10 wide 4.5 backspace rims.

Don't believe those that say the sidewall will not become wider on a wider wheel Thank about that your going to move the bead of the tire out one inch more per side, don't you think the section width will get wider also Trust me, it will I have done that test on both bias plys and radials, every time the section width got wider when I used the same tire on a wider rim BTW, if you have a 1.5 inches or more side clearances now go for it If you can live with 1/2 inch clearance to the tire

I asked the M/T tire rep about this at Shakedown this year. 29.5x10.5w , He said they like to be on wider rims. I will be putting them on 15x12"s

i run my dart with 29.5 true 10.5's on a 12" rim and also have a customer running 28 true 10.5's on 12". If my memory is right both are right around 13.2 on the bubble.

wider rim = better foot print= more air that can be used for the flatter foot print= more stability on the big end
