I have a 1980 Chrysler lebaron 2dr with 904 lockup converter trans. Trans has a fresh rebuild which includes a reman valve body and rebuilt convertor.
Everthing seems fine on 1-2-3 shifts but SOMETIMES at 35 mph when the convertor locks up it will shutter? Is this a bad convertor or another problem. Fluid is at the add pint line hot idling in neutral with type f valvoline fluid which I dont feel to be an issue. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Type F is the one fluid you do not want to use with a lockup converter.
