Hey guys, Im near Hartford, CT and I need to have some welding done on my #'s-matching 340 block.
The previous owner exploded 2 rods, which broke a section of the oil pan rail. The area has been machined and a slug of steel square-stock made to fit into the machined area. This is what I need to have welded in. I have pics but prolly won't be able to post them here.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. This is for a long-term restoration, so time is not an issue.
You can check out the car at http://www.mitchamatrudo.com/duster.htm

Try L@L Auto Machine, I think they are in Uncastville. I don't think they can fix it, but I'm sure they can hook you up with someone that could. Sorry, don't have the phone #.
