Gonna have to replace my belts again, I know i can send them back for recirt but thinking of changing from the standard lap latch to the camlock style. What belts do you guys like best? any bad feedback on the camlock style?

My last belt was a camlock. I liked it. But the latch one is cheaper, and our race season is only 4 months long. Its a really pain to have to change belts, I usually don't get more than 20-30 runs on a belt. It would be nice if a track was closer.

ANYWAY, My vote is for the cam lock.

I have cam locks on my perfect out of date belts as well, it is rediculous!!!
I dont see why it cant be a 10 year cert. Has anybody had one fail that wasnt 30 years old?

I have to replace mine,too...They are the last thing that I will get just before the season opens..You can squeeze 2 1/2 years out that way! Also don't forget that you will need at least a Snell 2005 helmet, too!

Hands down, camlock style; quick & easy to use. I leave the sub belt attached to it.
I have several mint/outdated belts, I should do the re-cert thing too.

I had camlocks in the altered I drove, personally I didn't care for them. Never could get used to them either even though I drove that thing for 2 years.

Cost is $60.00, which includes return shipping. You can enclose a check or give them your phone # for a credit card, and of course your address.

I have only used the regular 5 buckle latch style.
The only belts I would bother shipping for recert would be the more expensive ones, including cam lock.

I just sent my RCI "Platinum" belts back for recert/webbing. These cost about the same as other belts, but they give you a coupon for a one-time free recert. Now they charge you $20 return shipping, and it cost me almost that much to ship them to RCI, so it didn't save much over new ones ($65).
