Hey Mike C, I don't belive anyone who has a tube chassis 63 with a hemi in it should even have an opnion on NSS cars. Stick to test-tune passes with your club.
FIRST OFF MY CAR IS A BACK HALF CAR WITH THE ORIGINAL FRONT END. THE ONLY FIBERGLASS ON THE CAR IS THE HOOD AND FRONT BUMPER. THE REST IS STEEL. THATS RIGHT STEEL.
I DON'T THINK YOU OR PAUL CAN SAY ANYTHING. YOU OF ALL PEOPLE HAVE MORE CARBON FIBER IN THAT CAR THAN A CARBON FIBER MFG AND THEN WE HAVE THE ALL ALUMINUM 63 CAR. OH OH THE REAL CAR ALL I CARE ABOUT IS RUNNING EVENTS WITH OUR CLUB WHICH I AM A MEMBER AND HAVE BEEN FOR 5 YEARS.
500 CID LIMIT #3200 OR HEAVIER 10.5 TIRE
AS I SAID LETS SEE HOW FAST YOU WILL BE.
JEFF HOW MANY OF OUR CLUB EVENTS DID YOU COME OUT TO LAST YEAR.

Mike that car is real impressive. Is that weight. With you in the car? Also do you have the original glass in the car? I'm building my 65 Bel Hemi car I have glass hood deck lid and bumpers and I really hope to be 3200lbs...

Wasn't SSR predicting 8.4's with his new combo? What ever happened with that. Caused quite a commotion on here with those predictions!
Someone should let him back in for the holidays to liven this place up, LOL!
Let's not get this thread locked.... This could be a good topic for the Bullet....

I dont know why you all are arguing about it. Rules are rules and Paul fits the rules for NSS and im sure you could too mike with a hood scoop change. How about you all bring them to the duell classic in beech bend or at the monster in indy and we will settle this up.
I want to rematch you Paul (in Sanders car). The last time we raced he went into a big wheelstand and went towards the wall. Your guys cars are neck and neck would be an awesome race. Also just announced NMCA has an 8.50 index now...
I am betting someone runs a 30 this year in that series...
Casey
Will they have a NSS class at Monster Indy? If so who's rules are they going to go by? The only issue I will have is rear tires other then that I believe my car will fit right in there with the rest of them.... What do you think?

They follow NMCA rules, so you would have to change tires. If we do not have Lens car back together after I crashed it in september I'll put some 10.5x31w's on my ss/ah car and race that in nss. Jake. ps first time out with the black car ssr went some 8.50's as i recall.

Like Jake says, just put on some 10.5x33's almost as big as the tires you have but legal. Also no trans brakes or air shifters. That car looks great! poppaj

That car went 8.70's I heard... And that car is not a NSS car the only thing NSS on that are the window decals... We are talking NSS here... Where are you getting your info from because he never had a time clock up when he ran that car the first time...
