Oh, my God! I just logged on and read the sad news. I, too, am speechless and don't know what to say. I never met Gary in person, but I sure read posts made by him on this board, and enjoyed his advice on many topics. My prayers and deepest sympathies go out to all of his family and close friends.

This is a quote from Bubba Quote:
I'm a very selfish person when it comes to my family and friends. Their mine, don't mess with 'em!
I feel the same way. Their mine, dont mess with em,,,,Thats my family, thats my friend.
I had just seen him 2 weeks ago when we met out on Woodward. Got an email from him 2 days ago about getting together to work on my carb, etc,,,always lending a hand....
My brother was one of the trauma nurses on call when he came thru the ER and was there with/for him, I wish I could have been there for him as well. I went to work that morning at the hospital, not even knowing what had happened until later in the day, all the while, he was there..I wish I could have been there for him.
I will truely miss him, I feel sick. I feel angry, shocked, I feel very bad for his family.
My son Alex knew Gary well, he is 11, I remember Gary riding him around on the back of scooter down at Norwalk last year, doating over him, my son really liked him. When I got home from work last night, he had a tear in his eye, and things seemed so unfair. This is not supposed to happen.
We will all miss you Gary (#180)

I read Dave's post pretty much as soon as it was posted. Let me say it was a tough day to get thru. As with hundreds of other members I never met Gary in person. I was at events that he was in attendance at (Milan, WPC swap meets, etc), and now I'm sorry I didn't make the effort to introduce myself. I'm a local member and really don't post all that often, but I am here everyday reading with my friends. A few years ago I would never have imagined I could be so upset over a person I never met personally. The net has sure changed all of our lives. Sure there is a lot of bad out there, gonna happen in this big world. But the +'s the net has brought far out weighs the bad. I too will miss Gary's posts. Moparts will never be the same. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends. Thanks Gary for the joy you brought to the world.

I don't post here that often...so infrequently that I always seem to forget my logon stuff and I gottastart all over again. I've been reading a lot here lately and wanted to become more active, but this is what brings me back in. I never met Gary, but I enjoyed reading his posts and could see he was a hardcore Mopar guy and darn funny to boot. He will be missed by all, as evidenced by the hundreds of posts on this thread alone,as well as the numerous Gary related threads out there. His family has the prayers of my family.
