Hi,
since I have my 5speed Supra tranny and the 6.1 Hemi swap finished I need a new dash I guess. I really need to know the real speed shown so I did a search and found www.speedhut.com. They have what I need for a cool custom dash. And best is they offer metric instruments and a gps controlled speedo.

My question is is there somebody here at the board who has experience with those instruments, already installed?

Thanks,
Michael

I've been looking at those gauges myself, they look very sweet especially with all the customizable background face etc. you can have done. Just wish they made 5" gauges for my factory dash! Interested to hear what anyone using them here on the forum has to say as well!

I haven't seen any comments about the gps speedo but he used it. Somewhere there is a night picture and they are beautiful.

For sure, Speedhut is a quality gauge and you pay for it

yes, they look great. I only want the speedo, Tach and fuel gauge from them because oil pressure and water temp I want mechanical what they don't offer. I stay with autometer with this. I know this will look mixed but I don't trust electric gauges that much. Wish I would have that much space like in this cuda dash...

So far the only experience I have is giving them my CC info.. I'll know more in a week... Made in USA, Lifetime warranty, same family that started Autometer... I think they should be pretty nice... But I didn't get the GPS based speedo... I got a programable unit, should be easy to get it to do what I need.. Fuel gauge is programable to...

BTW Thanks for costing me money... Actually I've been looking & I like what I saw.. The sale this weekend saved me about $50.00..

Got a full set of Speedhut gauges with my Covan dash in a 70 restomod Cuda. Customized the gauges to match the car color and had "'Cuda" put on the front of each gauge. GPS speedo is nice. Antenna is small with a wire sticking out of the defroster. Had a few issues with water temp gauge accuracy, but customer service and tech support was great.
