Can anyone tell me where I can pick up a set of solid motor mounts for my 74 Plymouth Scamp with a 360 in it? All I can find is for D and E bodies.

What he said , never seemn it for a spool mount , you could probably get a poly mount or make one yourself out of alum stock .

that was the whole purpose of the spool mount design upgrade. With fresh rubber or poly, you should be good to go for many years.

You can , the tube the bolt passes thru can rip thru the rubber, it doesn't allow the motor to jump up like the biscuit mount does when it breaks, but there would be engine movement .

im not really worried about breaking them, im more concerned about taking the flex out of the motor. its a pure race car and solid is the way to go to get the car reacting better off the line. I think i will look into some of you all's suggestions. Thanks All!

i gutted the spool mount rubber and weld some thick washers onto the ends of spool mount housing to make a solid mount out of it before.

worked great for mine
