I pulled this CCH-290-NC out of a hard running 440 that spun a rod bearing, I can't find the specs anywhere! Crane Cams website is totally useless, and from googling I've determined this cam must be from the 70's.

Anyone got an old cam card or catalog?

Thanks!

Found this:

Its not a very radical camshaft by todays standards according to an old catalog I have (1980's) , but it isnt half bad

Crane H-290
Adv-290/290
.050"-216/216
Lift - .513 / .513
LSA-110
ICL-106

I used to care but....... things have changed

The H-290 specs above are not the same as the CCH-290. Crane did not make an H-290 for the B/RB. The CCH-290 was offered in single and three bolt versions. It's a single pattern hydraulic lifter camshaft, having 290 degrees advertised duration. Lobe lift is .332", providing a gross valve lift of .498" with the standard 1.5:1 ratio rocker arms. The duration at .050" is 236 degrees. Cam timing at .050" is: intake opens 11 degrees BTDC, intake closes 45 degrees ABDC, exhaust opens 55 degrees BBDC, exhaust closes 1 degree ATDC. Lobe separation is 112 degrees. As these were last produced in the mid-1970's, we don't list the specs on our website, however you can contact Crane directly at 866-388-5120, or tech@cranecams.com, for specs on any of our camshafts, and we can also send you a spec card. Regards, Chase
