Does anyone know if it is possible to home modify a Quarter Stick reverse pattern shifter so that I can add a clean neutral to my CRT 727????

I modified mine to use a solenoid shifter. Basically the same thing but neutral is now first, first is second and third is neutral. You can grind away the gate in the shifter and then add a small gate plate to get the gears you want if you aren't using an an air shifter.

For what transmission?. I can't see how that would work.
If its a reverse manual for a torqueflite, theres no more room for a clean nuetral position on the shifter itself.

The way it works is reverse is neutral and reverse. You have to push the trans brake button for reverse. Neutral is now 1st gear, 2nd is 3rd and 3rd is now the clean neutral.

I can see that being a big DOH until you get used to it....

But the one thing I don't like about my reverse VB is no clean neutral.

wow, I like that. does TA make a decal for the conversion? That could get confusing if you mess up with the new pattern. .

TA says you need to change the gate in order for the clean nuetral to work.
