School me on stand alone shift lights. I was to cheap when I bought the tach to get one, but now I think I do. What is a decent one to get and what is involved with all the parts needed to make it work. I have an MSD box if that matters. Thanks Bill

I have an MSD one myself. It just plugs into the tach port on the MSD box. You change the chip in it to change shift points.

Just a note: If you use a light and a tach, the shift light will flash a couple hundred RPM below what your chip says. That is so you have time to get the shift in before you go above your target RPM.

I got one here:
http://raptorperformance.com/

Easy to install. One wire to ground, another to a switched power source, and the last one to negative side of the coil.
