have a MSD distributor in my 496 stroker with a MSD distributor.I think i have read about tach problems when using it.I am sending the gauge cluster to Redline for restoration and am wondering what to ask for from them to remedy the problem.Thanks

Just tell them you have the MSD & to upgrade to the VDO tach option.
Much more accurate than the factory internals & no need for a MSD tach adapter. They did the VDO upgrade when restoring my challenger rallye dash & everything came out perfect. You may also consider their voltmeter/ammeter conversion, too.
