Concerning the early and late Race Hemi Orange, I have not seen any significant color difference between samples of original paint parts from 64-68, I can only assume that the "Late" versions were just variables in either the paint samples matched to or a variable in the samples themselves, I HIGHLY doubt it was a special color formula. Frank sells two versions, IMO based on my original; paint parts samples the early version is the best match for any year that used Race Hemi Orange.

I don't think its heat rated. I bought some to spray a non related item and was surprised by the color. I have used it on a few engines, it looks great and sticks well. The latest engine has 4 hours on the test stand and 800 miles in the car, there is no discoloration or peeling. I run my Hemiis hard, I would think it would have failed by now. I'll try to remember(I'm old as dirt) to bring the # off the can to post here.
