I know this is tool related and not mopar per say but....
I was cutting up a frame for parts and all of a sudden I had no pressure from the oxygen to blow out the slag. Still get a nice flame but no blow through.
The tank reads about half full, is that not enough to give me my cutting pressure? 35# to cut. Or is there something I am missing?

If you are cutting up a Mopar frame (truck?) then it's Mopar related . You have ox to the handle just not extra ox for cutting right? I'd take apart the handle & fix the blockage

If the oxygen tank is half full like you say then it sounds like you have a regulator problem.

What's the tip look like? maybe you got slag and dirt plugging up the middle hole? (I think it's the middle hole the oxygen shoots out of to blow away the slag)

I know my torch is not cutting very well anymore, it more or less just melts a wide channel through the steel, because my tip is shot and needs replaced.

Thanx guys,
I was planning to go clean it up today, it was getting late and this just made me want to do any thing else. Looks like I need to open it up and do some cleaning. Hope it is that simple. Heading out there now.
I think the regulators are fine, as I get a goood flame just no blow through.
As for it being mopar related, most of my problems are.
Not a truck frame but a c body front stub. Same diff, huh?
