And expensive. A billet drum is a lot cheaper than what that will cost.
but but but ... we don't need no stinkin billet parts ...
John, your starting to sound like Doc Fiberglass
No , I said that in a language that is known to man ...
I was waiting for the old timers to chime in that they never had or needed a billet drum or super sprag ...

The first thing to buy and bolt into a 727. A&A ultimate Sprag. Nice piece... But with mis-use? Or abuse? Anything can fail. Stay safe guys!!
I'd have to disagree with that. The cost of that sprag is money better put towards a billet drum and LBA valve body.
The first manual valve body I owned (1970) was made by B&M. It was a LBA valve body.
I just did a trans for a car that may see the track once , put the A+A sprag in , better money spent because the car doesn't need the $700 drum.

That looks like the blanket that Chuck Lofgren used to sell. I have one on my car as well as my dads. Great fit.... and they do work.
I got one recently. He still sells them! ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbs.gif)
