Dakota_Don OP master D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 6,816 Alton, IL	Hello, on this unit..(my first aode/4r70w) should the input shaft move in and out like a 4l60.. I did the check with the .700 bar gauge.. I have 1.636 on the intermed clutch.. and on the hub 1.513.. according to manual its the yellow thrust washer.. but i cannot pull the input shaft in and out.. nor does the manual or the internet show anything like that.. dusturbd340W5 master D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 4,616 Kissimmee Fl.	yes with the trans assembled you should have some end play on the input shaft.And i hop you meant .163 and not 1.63 70 duster full chassis super pro 416 CNC Indybrock heads 727 w/brake best so far 1.212 60 6.219 in 1/8 at 110.88 9.768 at 137.81 1/4
