I was just wondering if anyone is running a Lunati 60301 VooDoo cam in a 30 over 383? If so....how do you like it?

Using the 60302 in my 383.
Vacuum is 15"Hg so no worries with power brakes and it pulls good from 1500rpm.
Idle is very smooth once I got the timing and carb adjusted.

Like it a lot.

Lunati makes a very nice cam. You will have no problems with it.

I am using a Lunati 60303 cam in my 440 build.

As a bonus, you can put their killer stickers on everything...LOL

Same here. using the 60302 in my 440 great idle, great power. I think you will find the 60301 mild.

I just looked up the specs on a 60301. If you are using it in a mostly stock engine, it will be fine.

•Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 256/262
•Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 213/220
•Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .454/.475
•LSA/ICL: 112/108
•Valve Lash (Int/Exh): Hyd/Hyd
•RPM Range: 1000-5500

I'm using the 60301 in one of my 440 Powerwagons. Great cam! Pulls from the basement! Excellent for a street driven car also as there's no lag at low RPM's Nice thing about this cam is you can use stock torque converter and valve train.

Thank you to everyone that posted to my post!
I am building the 383 engine for street use and trying to achieve the best fuel economy for going on long trips but still being able to have good performance. This cam is supposed to give 19 inches of vacuum at idle and have excellent throttle response. I am going to be installing a six pack set up on it with a 5-speed standard transmission with 3:23-to-3:91 sure grip (depending on the transmission gear ratio ) with a 27-28" tall rear tires.
