Im clear on removing window trim ..
but this is the lower or rear trim that holds the vinyl top down..
What is the trick to getting this trim off?
its a small rivited piece of flat steel with a tail on it..?
what is the best method-tool-procedure
i searched but only found window trim techniques..

does this have to be removed from underneath the trunk area?
are those the stamped nut type of fasteners?
To re-install do i put clips on trim then put trim in place and cap nut it from the trunk?
its late i cant see ill have to wait till tommorrow?
anyone know....?

You didn't say what type of vehicle you're working on, but on my '69 Super Bee, the clips were held on to the body by threaded posts with nuts on them, accessible from the inside of the trunk and inside the quarter panel.

70 dart swinger...
it had nuts under the deck lid..accessable from the trunk..
now how im gonna clean out the window gutters so the glue will adhere...i have no clue..
looks like more cleaning and cleaning is in order.
what color wax rouge do you use on stainless trim? (how do you spell rooosgh?)
