I purchased a 67 barracuda Convertible 3 years ago, and have been questioned several times about my Plymouth emblem on the front of the car. Mine is a small emblem on the drivers side of the front. Everyone is telling me that the 67's have Plymouth in large letters spaced on the front.Their belief is my car has a 68 or 69 doghouse and is not correct. My question is, could this have been a mid-year change? There is no evidence that mine was changed, and I know that the build date is May 31, 1967. Just curious. Larry

I am almost positive they should be plymouth spelled out.

It is common to see a '67 nose on a '68 and vice versa; I bet the crash interchange books list them as the same (just a guess) the only difference is the emblem

Thanks for the info. I'm not worried about keeping my car original per say, just tired of everyone asking me why my 67 has a 68 front end on it. I know the car has a lot of history, maybe it was wrecked at some time.Just wondered if maybe the lettering was a midyear change.

That is without a doubt a '68 front end. No worries, just enjoy your ride
