i got my beast fired up last night & all went well. added the juice to the trans as reqd. had fitted a guage to check the line pressure & it don't read anything. what the....?. am i connect to the correct port? on the right hand side of the trans i'm hooked into the center plug port. according to the trans book i have this as the line pressure plug but its not reading anything. hope my guage aint puckerood!.

You won't have pressure at the center port until it's in a forward gear...the exception being some valve bodies that don't pressurize the accumulator in which case you won't be able to get a pressure reading there in any gear.

i have a A&A LBA brake with safe Neutral, do you know if that VB pumps up the pressure?

The LBA valve body blocks the accumulator so there is no pressure at the center port ever.
You can get a pressure reading at the front (kickdown servo) test port when the trans is in 3rd gear or the rear servo port when the trans is in 1st gear.

cheers john this is the info i needed. thank you. EDIT. swapped locations tonite & redid test. all good now, i have 140psi at idle in 1st. will test before adjusting.
