Ray from Cap Automotive told me that he sold the Cap business to QA1. I have not see any information from QA1 on the tubular front ends. and still looking .

From what I was told was that QA1 was going to make them at 1/2 the price, to keep up with the x brands and give Mopar gearheads like myself a break.

I need a front end, But I'm waiting for QA1 to break out of the closet with the new product..So as we all say proof is in the pudding so where is the pudding

QA1 stuff is pretty decent stuff in my book. The CAP stuff, well I have heard alot more bad reports than good ones. They probably have the financial backing to make improvements where they need to be without effecting cost.
Fact is we cant afford too loose yet another option for our old Mopars in the performance market.

I'm really suprised if QA1 isn't promoting the tube front end products yet - the sale of CAP to them happened this past end of July. It should have been a pretty smooth transition, since QA1 bought an exisisting product line, assembly jigs and product inventory. Also,I read on QA1's website their announcement of the purchase months ago, with a product line-up soon to follow.

From QA1's website...

QA1 Acquires CAP Auto Products
Lakeville, MN [August 1, 2011] – QA1 is excited to announce the acquisition of CAP Auto Products, a designer and manufacturer of tubular suspension components for the Mopar community. CAP’s founder, Ray Costello, has a history in the Mopar community as a long time enthusiast and drag racer in Chrysler Mo-Power events. Over the past 8 years, Ray has developed an extensive line of tubular suspension components specific to Mopars and QA1 is proud to introduce these products to its dealer network and retail customers.

The upper and lower control arms, k frames, dynamic strut bars and tie rod adjusters from CAP’s line, coupled with QA1’s selection of shock absorbers, provides Mopar enthusiasts with the suspension they’re looking for.
