Well I finally got home to a computer. I have been a mess all day. I called OneBad today after I heard about the accident and he heard nothing but called me later to tell me the news. Then my wife called telling me the same thing. He will be truly missed by me and my family. I have known him for only a year but in that time he pushed me in the right direction on who or what to do to my car. He gave me a ticket to the Nats when I thought that I could't afford to go. My little girl thinks the world of him also. All I know is I drive that section of 75 every day and it will be hard for me to do that now without crying my eyes out. Rest In Peace my friend You will be missed very much.

We did indeed lose a friend and a member..a very great and loyal member to both moparts and his community. I have not met Gary, but i looked up to him after his car in Mopar Muscle because I plan on going into law enforcement and have my very own 73 challenger. I will be contributing at the Atlantic Nats. I was looking forward to the next Moparty as well to meet him personally. IT is truly a shame to lose such an individual as Gary. I offer my most sincere condolunces to his family. I have read every post, and now I am at a loss for words. Remember: UNLAWFL Mike

I've got all I can, and want to bring the printed copy to Gary's house before it gets too much later. There is a big storm brewing and I don't want it to ruin the print or hurt the flowers so better get going. I will also leave a note directing Nicki or anyone in the family interested in reading this to stop by moparts.org and go to the general board. I miss Gary already

I never had the pleasure of meeting Gary personally but I always enjoyed his input on Moparts and the great work he did on his Challenger. Another painful reminder of how fragile life is. My deepest condolences to the family, RIP Gary. Hans

Oh wow.... that about sums it up I thought this was a joke or something. It's hard to take losing a fellow moparts member, especially one that's been with us for so long and has so many friends here. I've never met the guy or really conversed with him much but I still feel I knew him in a way . Condolences to his immediate family and to his family here , he will be missed .

I never had the opportunity to speak to or meet Gary... I have always enjoyed reading his knowledgable posts on here. With over 4000 posts to his name it is not hard to see he was dedicated to this hobby and his friends. When his car made it into Mopar Muscle I tore it out and hung it up on my wall. I have always admired that Challenger since it was on the cover of the magazine! I wish I got to know Gary like so many of you did. It is times like this that we should reach out to our loved ones and tell them how much we care.
To his family and friends on Moparts and in real life please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss, Gary Davis will always be remembered.

I feel like I could throw up right now. I've had the pleasure of hanging out with Gary a few times including the Nats and Norwalk Classic last summer. He helped us cook on the grill at the classic. He brought something very special to this Mopar hobby and every time I dropped a tenth I couldn't wait to tell Gary. He will be missed and racing won't be the same w/o him.
