I'm thinking about converting my 67 Coronet to a 4speed. My question is can a A833 be made to take 750hp? If no what are my other options, I do not want to cut up, or modify the floor. Thanks.
The question is how are you going to use the car ?

First of all, the Hemi 4-speed was the only transmission to put behind big block drag race engines back in the day. My friend John with the 9-second Camaro had one, "Liberty shifted" IIRC.
Second of all, a 4-speed needs a 4-speed hump in the floor. I don't know of any other modifications.

Yes but if you are making that kind of power I would look elsewhere.
If no what are my other options, I do not want to cut up, or modify the floor. There is no way to install a four speed without cutting floor for the hump.

It's a street car.I really don't plan on going to the strip. DON'T PLAN. lol Modify? In what way?
you are going to have to cut a big hole in the side of the tunnel for the trans to even get up on the mount and install the hump that holds the shifter boot and closes off the passenger compartment.
For a street car a Hemi 4 speed will be up to the task as long as you are running street slicks and dumping the clutch at 5k RPM and full power shifting all the time, no need to modify the syncros unless you are all out drag racing .
