I'd say that's pretty good but you didn't list many specifics about it.

I suspect you could get close or even make that ET once you get some more seat time and really nail down driving the car constantly.

thanks again jeff for all your help at the track.
60ft 1.93
330 5.61
660 8.65 @ 80.80mph
1000 11.25
1320 13.44 @ 103.5mph

its a stock stroke 440 60over, flat top pistons, 452 heads, 780 holley vacuum 2ndarys, torker intake, headers...nothing fancy
I'll be at one more test and tune on the 30th with a new shifter shooting for 12's

I was thinking you might pick up a few tenths real fast uncapping the headers. Ron

your 60 ft. times are horrible, what size and type tires did you use that day?Usually for every .10 you improve on the 60 ft. times you get anywhere from .12 to .18 decrease in the 1/4 mile ET. Hooking the car up in the first 40 ft is the key to fast time slips BTW, stick cars are a real test of the drivers skills Been there done that Keep after it, you'll get there Can you get a short pair of slicks to use like a set of 28x10x15?How good is your clutch now Can you bog the car off of the starting line with different driving styles? Sometimes that helps a bunch

sounds like a plan with the open headers...free horsepower.
tires are 295 55 15 mickey tompson et street radials 18psi.
they spun alot until i started actually doing a burnout in the waterbox then they hooked real good and bogged the motor down..but the time got alot better

Open headers, jetting, timing , fuel pressure, tire pressure, launch and shift rpm.

Dial it in......you'll get your 12s.
