Dyers? BDS? Who has experience with a street setup? What have you used and how did it go--who likes what? I have a customer and he is bent on a dual 4 carbed blower setup for the street. I have the 500 inch Mega block almost ready and am about to order the top kit--I have one pal that swears by Dyers--others say BDS--what have ya'll used and who has the best service.?? Thanks Moparts Gang!

I bought my stuff over 10 years ago.I went with BDS because of thier reputation but was disappointed in their after service. My 1st problem was a spun crank hub.Ordered a new one and had it overnighted to make a MOPAR weekend at English town. The hub they sent me was a half inch shorter then I had. When I called them{rather pissed off} they told me they hadn't produced that hub in 8 years.Concidering I got the setup 2 years prior it shows they sold me OLD STOCK to clear thier shelf.I have NEVER heard a bad word about Dyers and The Blower shop looks to have new billit cases that look very nice.I now also use an ATI super dampner rather than just a hub.Just remember to tell them to use a 2 inch register 'cause all the blower stuff like spacers & pullies are 2 inch and the stock mopar stuff is 2.25.I had to customize the pully {open up the id}to fit the dampner properly.
HEMI-ITIS has no cure. My condition is fully BLOWN!!

I think that BDS feels that they are above most of us "hobbiests". They make quality stuff, but don't like answering all the questions. Maybe they think that is what their retailers are for?
I have had the best experience with Good Vibrations in California. Very knowledgeable, will take the time with you, AND they discount most everything.
Master, again and still

If you're looking for big power, the screw is the way to go. For the street, the bottom cut should be in the 5lb range for pumpgas use, then use the pulleys to set the final boost pressure at the desired rpm......mine is cut for 12lbs and is driven to hit 20lbs at 8000rpm which is way overkill for driving around town.
