Is this a necessary item? I'm running the hi-po manifolds with the Summit 10mm spark plug wires. The spark plug boots are larger than stock, too. If I need this, I will order it as soon as possible as I see it will be discontinued soon.

Thanks in advance!

To appear correct, yes, to work properly? No.

Not needed as long as your sure your plug wires and other surrounding items don't touch the manifolds, etc.

Not looking for correctness, so I guess it's a purchase I don't need to make. Kinda expensive, anyway!

Thanks!

..i once checked a rear wire that wasn't pushed on all the way and it was hot enough to burn my hand.
..i guess that's o.k. but i bent a little shield just for the back 2 wires on the drivers' side just in case,it's held on by one of the hidden manifold bolts.
