Anyone have any idea of what kind of converter this is? Numbers on it are 17508S 82036. Thanks, Ray

how is Turbo Action with converters? Converter was in the car when I bought it, had broblems with tearing up starters? Went to a PTC 9.5" and never had any more problems. But thinking about going to a 8". Which PTC will do for a prety good price) Is it worth sending to turbo action and having them check it out?

That's a great converter, imo! I would send it back to Paul so he can go thru it. Maybe it just needs a new ring gear.

The conv you show has a cracked ring gear... I really
like my TA conv... the one I'm gonna use in my Rampage
is a TA conv also

That is, in fact, a TA 8" pro series converter. I have one on the shelf I am thinking of trying on a 451 Dakota drag truck project. Does anyone know if this series of converters are transbrake compatible?
