Does anyone have a picture of the metal Radio delete Plate that would go in a 63 Plymouth Savoy car. A buddy of mine has two different ones but not sure which one is corret. Both has Vertical "ribs " on the front and one is about 1/2" longer than the other any Diminsions or pictues & descriptions would be great or even a link

Thanks Brian

Go to the Mecum auction site. Find the pix from last weekend's Dallas auction. There was a '64 Savoy, that was a radio delete car. Maybe there is a pix of the dash in the listing.

Dodges had ribbed plates and Plymouths were smooth.. also '63 Plymouth plates are different than '64-'65 Plymouths

This is my old alum nose '63 Savoy..

I'll try to get a picture of my '64 Savoy plate because of it being diff..

Here is a '64/'65 Plymouth on eBay..

I should add that '65 Dodges and Plymouths were the same from what I've seen so far. You just might have an A-body delete plate mixed in.

I've bought reproduction plates from this eBay seller. He just might have what you need.

FYI not all 63 plates are smooth. I have two I know to be orig. and they both have ribs. One is from a Savoy the other from a Belvedere.

My Savoy and Belvedere plates are the same. Don't know about Fury. Don't doubt that some were smooth, just haven't seen any.

Not to hijack this thread but 62Maxwagon are you saying the difference in the texture is by year and not by make? Speaking strictly the higher end models like Sport Fury and Polara 500 I thought the differnce was between Dodge and Plymouth. I was looking at a bunch of consoles last week and noticed the difference in texture and that is what he told me. Guess I will have to wait until I get home to check the Plymouths I have.

Don't know about Dodge but the above plate is out of a 62 Belvedere. My friends 63 Sport Fury is same configuration but slightly different texture. Both pieces original to both cars.
