Hi Guys,
I'm looking at buying a rebuilt converter for a b/b push button. Can anyone share any experience good or bad? I'm not racing but would like one with a little higher stall speed than stock just in case.
thanks

If your PB trans still has the 19-spline input shaft your choices are limited, if it has been changed to the later input shaft look for an 11" converter for a '68-'70 340 or 383HP.

ORE you could find a OEM '65(I think) "race" converter I honestly don't remember where I got it .. but it has been in my 62 since almost day-one. I just LOVE that converter. I would suggest putting in a WANTED ad here ...

Guys,
Thanks for the replies, I have been offered one new rebuilt & unused that will suit my trans. My question is should I be looking for anything in particular? ie are they any good once they've been rebuilt
thanks

Hi,
Rebuilt & unused?
thanks
LOTS of places offer "rebuilt" converters ...and they have never been cut-apart .... REBUILT ? ...yeah right. ...
ALL some do is buff-the-hub up, drain the converter of old ATF and put new ATF in it.
