Who sells them?
I have seen different ones also throughout the years.
Is it just a matter of what fit what vehicle and linkage?

Would one from a 518 work for me with my lokar cable?
I know a lot of these levers are at various angles and stuff, but I should be able to make it work no?

Do Tell. I think I might have already answered my question unless I am missing something.

I have a hand full of them, they are different lengths and have the D-hole clocked in different positions depending on what it was from.

i think a 518 that had a cable would have the lever with a ball stud,I have 1 of those in the stash from a 94-v/6-904 tbi tranz.

you need one?

are you talking about the TPV lever or the band lever inside the pan?

The throttle valve lever on the trans. Yeah. I have a 518 lever. I'm thinking since my whole combo is custom that the 516 lever will work just fine with my lokar cable setup with proper adjustment no?

Thanks for the response.

you should be able to get it to work

lokar is not the best set up and most have the problem of adjustment cause the ratio of lever movement to throttle movement.

IIRC the bouchillon set up will supply the lever for the tranz in the hardware kit along with the piece that will go on the carb for throttle to lever ratio.

seems most people have to drill a hole in the lever closer to the trans case to get it to adjust out more to their likeing.

good luck

The 518 used a couple of different ball-stud levers; since some of the early 518's still used mechanical linkage the levers for those might be too long to work with the Lokar, the later 518's used a cable with a shorter lever that would be better for the Lokar.
