I would think that 1 arm is hanging up and pushing sideways when you release the clutch... that pressure plate would have to go(or change the arm)

IMO... right now you have a $2500 piece of trash... if that arm is hanging up and pushing on the slider its going to cause havoc on any bearing

Can you loosen the bolt up for the pivot of that 3rd arm on the pressure plate and attempt to slide it inboard any?
Also a really dumb question (assuming with a slickshifted gearset and a $2500 clutch it's been done already), but have you centered the bellhousing to the crank?

Did you have any luck having the manufacturer take a look at your assembly.
It sure looks like the short lever is riding on the very edge of the to bearing and I cannot see how it wouldn't side load and cause your candlestick problems.
Any drag with clutch disengagement or anything or just when it's "broke". That's a Youngblood unit correct?

Steve I would send these pics to Rob(it looks like one his plates) because it clearly has one lever too short. This is what is causing the retainer to break without a doubt It is pushing the T.O.bearing off to one side and just plain breaking it off.I have a billet retainer for a 23 spline unit if you need one send me a PM Gus

Yes it is robs clutch, he does not want me to send him the clutch back, his opinion is that the short arm has nothing to do with my problem but he is sending me a lever to make me happy.

I have sent all these pics and many more to Rob, He is standing his ground saying no way its my problem, he is sending me a lever so that I will be happy even though (it wont help me). I already have a billet retainer to put in this time,as well as a larger T,O bearing, thanks.

He may not think it's causing the retainer to break but it is definitely an issue because the leverage with the shorter arm is different than the other 2 .
